The House Committee on Ways and Means in the wee hours of the morning this morning passed H.R. 3200, the Democrat’s Orwellian named “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009”, by a vote of 23-18.

The $1.5 TRILLION DOLLARS Government-Run Insurance Plan that House Democrats have proposed. This Government takeover of Health Care won’t lower costs for families but will kill American Jobs.

The House Ways and Means Committee has passed a plan to overhaul the U.S. Health Care System, including the addition of a Government-Run Insurance Plan to compete with Private Insurers and paying for its reform efforts by Taxing the Nation’s Wealthiest Citizens.

All the more reason for a “Flat Tax”.

If God can manage the entire Universe on just 10%, our Government should be able to run on a 15% State and 5% Federal Flat Tax on consumption. The day of our Government Officials being our “Humble Servants” has past and today it is “What’s in for me!” Democrats also voted down an Amendment from Rep. Dean Heller (R-NV) that would require all Members of Congress to get Insurance through the “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009”.

Just another reason for “Term Limits”. Stop the prevention of “New Blood” and ideas. Our officials should only be allowed to serve as a Representative for three, three year terms; as a Senator for three, three year terms; and as President for two four year terms.

This would increase the opportunity for more people to be involved in our Government.

Cap-And-Trade is an Energy Tax and it will wreak havoc on the Economy and amplify UNEMPLOYMENT.

LET’S MAKE TAXES SIMPLE. Three solutions for Economic Stimulus:

1)     Where is the FLAT TAX?  How about a one page Tax Return that takes less than an hour to fill out.

2)     Tax us when we Consume, not when we CONSERVE.

3)     “Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less”

• No Representatives shall be on more than 1 Committee and 1 Sub-Committee and MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE for the entire duration of ALL Committee Meetings.
